Common problems on Android

I can't find the eSIM option in Settings +
Your device may not support eSIM, or it might be a carrier-locked model that has eSIM disabled. Check our compatible devices page. Some regional Samsung models (especially those sold in Asia) have eSIM disabled by the carrier.
QR scan failed or says "invalid QR code" +
Make sure the QR code image is large and well-lit. Try opening the email on a laptop screen for better scanning. Also ensure you have a stable WiFi connection during the scan.
eSIM installed but no signal in Taiwan +
Go to Settings → Connections → SIM Manager and confirm the Taiwan eSIM is enabled and set as the mobile data SIM. Try toggling Airplane Mode off and on to force a network scan.
Samsung says "eSIM transfer" instead of add new +
Scroll down in the eSIM setup screen — there should be an option to "Add from QR code" or "Scan QR code" beneath the transfer option.
